LEO - Almost Personal Reading for September 6th - October 6th 2020 - Time to Walk away, Leo?
Lucky Leo, you got my first tarot reading on the blog. I took the twelve zodiac signs out of the Barbieri Zodiac Oracle, shuffled them, and you came first :-) I will do the remaining readings this way as well. Coincidentally, Venus has entered Leo today, so you could find yourself in demand for the next few weeks.
I've titled this almost personal, because sometimes, the message that comes through is so specific. This is a reading for someone who is a Leo Sun, Moon, Rising or Venus sign - or you may be dealing with a Leo. Please remember that timing is fluid in tarot, this may speak of things which have already happened, are happening right now, or may happen in the future. Nothing is set in stone, we all have free will. Males may present as a female energy and vice versa, because we all embody both masculine and feminine energies. I used my pendulum to divine which decks to use for your reading and it chose Radleigh Valentine's Fairy Tarot Cards and Archangel Power Tarot Cards for your reading. Supporting oracle cards are Doreen Virtue's Romance Angels Oracle Cards, Sandra Anne Taylor's Energy Oracle Cards, and some handwritten messages as to what your person wants to tell you. I also drew some letters out of a bag which may give you an indication as to the initials of the person you may be dealing with.
I initially drew four cards for you, Leo, and four cards for your person. As I dealt, I automatically put you in the top row as it is your reading, and will refer to the messages for the top row as you for the reading. However, you will have to decide where you sit in this reading, I'll give my six penneth on this one and you can judge for yourself.
The top row has dished out not one, not two but three Pages and the major arcana High Priestess. So, whoever sits on the top row is someone youthful, optimistic. Someone who always sees the best in people. An incurable romantic. A dreamer. A charmer. You also might be intuitive and in touch with your spiritual side. You might instinctively know things, whether in your gut or your heart. You might feel a strong connection with those who you are apart from, whether in the flesh or in spirit.
The bottom row has dealt three Winter cards - which is the equivalent to the suit of Swords in traditional tarot. This person could be an air sign, Gemini, Libra or Aquarius, or have strong air placements in their birth chart. This person is likely very methodical, very thought driven, sensible. This person is probably head over heart, whereas you are likely to be heart over head. At first glance, they may be the exact opposite to you. They're grounded, where you're floating off into the sky on some flight of fancy. They're practical, where you might be remortgaging your home for your next business venture, or deciding to chuck in a well paying career to retrain as a... as a florist or Reiki practitioner (not that there's anything wrong with that!)
You have three Pages. The Page of Gabriel (Wands), Raphael (Cups), and Ariel (Pentacles). Pages are the messengers of the decks, so either you have a lot to say to people that you've been keeping inside, or you are going to be the recipient of many messages this month. News which concerns passion, love, finances and material gain. The only Page you didn't receive was the Page of Michael (Swords). Maybe you'll receive these messages intuitively, with the appearance of the High Priestess, maybe you are having strong dreams about something right now. Or maybe, just maybe, when you receive these messages, you'll be keeping your mouth shut about them. The High Priestess observes and absorbs everything, but says nothing.
As a side note, three Pages in a deck could signify outside interference in your relationship. This could be from (but not strictly limited to) younger people, maybe children, step children, grandchildren. But either way, be it friend, foe or family member, someone could be meddling in your relationship right now.
Your person has the King of Winter (Swords), the Five of Winter, the Nine of Winter and Balance. Your person is all up in their head about your relationship. They could be quite detached from you right now, whether this is their default state or not, I don't know. But presently, they could be coming across as quite cold and harsh. With the Five of Winter they could be contemplating walking away from your relationship because whatever the heck is going on with you is causing them sleepless nights with the Nine of Winter. This isn't just bog standard worry, this is torment, this is waking up in the middle of the night, this is occupying every waking thought type worry. Balance, which is this deck's version of the Temperance card, this is a card of compromise. The need to balance things out in your relationship so that you both have an equal say, so that all views are considered. I don't think that your person is being very receptive to this right now, judging by the amount of Winter cards preceding this card. They need to be balanced, to compromise with you, but the rigidity that I feel is that, nope. It's their way or the highway.
I drew four clarifying cards each for you, to hopefully give more insight into what the issues you and your partner face are.
For you, Leo. The Page of Gabriel is clarified by the Ace of Gabriel. You have the seed of a dream, and it burns inside you and you want to follow that dream, with the Ace of Gabriel. A passionate new beginning, fire energy, and as you are a fire sign, it's no surprise really. You've probably got the bit between your teeth over whatever this specific dream, plan or concept is.
The Page of Raphael, which is the Page of Cups in traditional tarot, you might be apologising to someone who you've hurt, or, they might be apologising to you, and I feel that once you've cleared the air between you, once the ice has been broken, that you might want a new start with this person. New Beginnings speaks of starting a new life and forgiving the past. It is the equivalent to Judgement in traditional tarot. A judgement is called on this relationship once the apology has been issued or received.
You have the Four of Raphael on the High Priestess. This tells me that you are feeling bored, stifled, but you're not seeing the bigger vision right now. It's almost like you have tunnel vision and you're so focused or preoccupied on one thing, that you're letting all manner of opportunities pass you by. The High Priestess tells you to go within, meditate, go for a walk in nature alone, quieten yourself and your surroundings and listen to your Higher Self right now, because you know what to do and what needs to be done.
Finally, you have the Peace card. The Peace card is the equivalent of the Death card in traditional tarot. This tells you that this situation you're in has reached the end, it has gone full circle and it's telling you to release it, let it go. This ties in perfectly with the New Beginnings card. I don't know if you have something or someone else waiting in the wings for you, whether it's a person, a job, a move away, but whether or not, I think that you know this relationship is on the outs.
Your person, Leo. King of Swords clarified by Justice. First thing I thought when I saw this combination was divorce. If you are married to this person, they may have instructed a solicitor, they may even have started divorce proceedings, but at the very least, they are seriously considering leaving you. Why?
The Five of Winter. They've had enough of fighting, and they're walking away from a dishonest situation. Now, the Three of Summer card can be a quite positive card, it can indicate a reunion between friends, but it can also indicate a third party situation. Drawn together, these two cards usually indicate betrayal, specifically a romantic betrayal. If you look carefully at both of these cards, the Five of Winter and the Three of Summer, they both have three people in them?
I think, Leo, that your heart may be elsewhere, and your person knows this, and they've had enough. Three's a crowd, as they say.
Then they have the Nine of Winter, clarified by the Ego card. This card is this deck's equivalent of the Devil card. For me, these two cards coming together may signify mental health issues of some sort, depression, anxiety, maybe. It can also indicate darker sides of relationships. Feeling trapped or bound to someone in a toxic way. Obsession. Codependency. Jealousy. It can indicate addiction too, addictions can be anything that too much of is bad for us. It doesn't always mean hard drugs like heroin, or an alcohol addiction. Gambling, smoking, drugs, sex, alcohol, computer gaming, food, working too hard, working out too hard, spending money you don't have. All addictions. Is there something in your shadow side that has impacted on your relationship, Leo? Or is this your person who is suffering with an affliction or an addiction that has impacted on your relationship?
Finally, they have Balance, clarified by the Eight of Summer. They're walking away from this situation, because they feel that it no longer serves them to stay, in search of something that is going to make them happy. That's not to say that they're happy about doing this, this is going to be something very painful for them to do, but they know deep down that it's time to move on. They may be thinking of relocating somewhere else too.
Intense! To finish off, I'll go into the oracle cards and messages that I drew to add more depth to your reading. The Romance Angels oracle card I drew for you was Worth Waiting For - Divine Timing is at work in your love life. The Energy Oracle card I drew for you was Door to Romance. Door to Romance tells of new beginnings in love, it may be with a past love or with someone completely new. So, yeah, Leo, I'd say that there's someone out there for you, someone worth waiting for, someone who is going to be perfectly aligned with you. I wanted to go into this further so I drew some more Romance Angels, two for you and two for your person, and two messages each for you and your person as to what you might want to tell each other right now.
Finances and Career - Financial issues are a factor in your love life right now. Yeah, these fall on the Page and the Ace of Gabriel, so I would say that maybe this new idea, whether it's a business idea, whether it's a new career... this may be the straw that broke the camel's back. I am being drawn to the fact that this has come on top of my divorce cards, so whether you're married or not, if you have to start splitting things financially, this person might well come for the shirt off your back, especially if they feel that you've betrayed them.
New Love - A new person has stirred your romantic feelings. Pretty self explanatory, that one! Slap bang on top of the Peace (Death) card, an ending will bring about a new beginning in love for you.
What you might want your person to know. I need to focus on my healing. Maybe then, it is you with the unhealthy addiction? And finally, I don't need your approval. Perhaps you have spent a lot of time battling with your person when it comes to following your dreams. Maybe they used to put their foot down with a firm hand. Maybe they treated you coldly or withheld their love if you did something that they didn't approve of, which is actually emotionally abusive.
Your person has Unrequited Love - there's not enough attraction or chemistry to keep this relationship going. I think they know this, I think they feel this deep down. Slap bang on top of the divorce cards. Deception - someone is wearing a false-self mask in this relationship. You? Them? Both of you? Presenting a happy and united front to everyone else but once you're behind closed doors it's a different matter?
What your person might want you to know. You did not break me - on top of the cards of a romantic betrayal. And I know more than you might think - on top of the cards denoting sleepless nights and addictions.
I can read this a couple of ways. Firstly, if you did have a fling, Leo, and you thought that your person was in the dark about it? They're not. They know. Because they know more than you might think, you see. And the fact that they know might be the reason for their sleepless nights. It might be the reason behind their coldness towards you. It might even be the reason that they're drinking too much. Or popping strong painkillers. Or snorting a line of coke. Or maxing your credit card out. Or pushing themselves to exhaustion at work. Or, or, or... it could be that if you are keeping your addiction or obsession hush hush, you're not doing as good a job as you think. They know. Either way, they know more than you realise that they know.
And finally, to round off your reading, I drew some letters out of a bag, ten letters which might give you the initials of the person you are dealing with. Honest to God, it was like the shittest round of Countdown ever. Consonant, Carol. And another. And another. And another... not one bloody vowel!
