Hello Sagittarius and welcome to your reading. This is a reading for someone who is Sagittarius Sun, Moon, Rising or Venus sign - or you may be dealing with a Sagittarius. Please remember that timing is fluid in tarot, this may speak of things which have already happened, are happening right now, or may happen in the future. Nothing is set in stone, we all have free will. Males may present as a female energy and vice versa, because we all embody both masculine and feminine energies. If this reading doesn't resonate with you - it's not your reading! Don't force it to fit your story. Please remember that these readings are for entertainment only, and should be used as guidance only. If you have any problems that require the expertise of a professional; a solicitor, a doctor, an accountant, then please seek the appropriate help for your issue. Now that we've got that out of the way, let's begin!
I used my pendulum to divine which decks to use for your reading and it chose John Holland's Psychic Tarot deck and Chris-Anne's Lightseer's Tarot for your reading. Supporting oracle cards are Yasmin Boland's Moonology Oracle deck and Colette Baron-Reid's Wisdom of the Oracle deck.
I initially drew four cards for you, Sagittarius, and four cards for your person. As I dealt, I automatically put you in the top row, as it is your reading, and I'll refer to the messages for the top row as
you during this reading. However, if you resonate more with the messages in the bottom row, then feel free to flip the reading. One more note on your person. This could be your partner, your spouse, your secret lover, this could be your crush, your ex. But 99% of the time, it's going to refer to the person who dominates your thoughts. You could be married but find yourself preoccupied with the crush you have on your boss. You could be single and pining for your ex.
On your top row, you have Spiritual Union, Disruption, Stand Your Ground, and Awareness.
On your person's row, they have the 8 of Cups, the 9 of Cups, the Ace of Cups and the Queen of Cups.
Spiritual Union, this is the deck's version of the 2 of Cups. This is about relationships, it could be new love, old love, but it's a steady connection, it's not something light, this is not about someone you're casually dating, this is someone who is potentially a soulmate, a life partner. Lovely. With... Disruption. This deck's version of the Tower card. So, this month, I feel that walls may come tumbling down within this connection. Something is going to happen to disrupt this union, or it may have already happened, it's going to be rough, tough, but usually with this card, it's for the best. Even if you can't see why at this precise time. Things need to be shaken up; if they're strong enough, you can rebuild, if you can't rebuild then the relationship was likely built on shaky foundations to begin with and wouldn't have weathered even the slightest storm.
Stand your Ground is the 7 of Wands. This card usually appears when you are being tested. It tells you not to surrender and not to compromise on your beliefs and values. And Awareness, which is this deck's Magician card. It's a card of wisdom, power, psychic ability, manifestation. It reminds you that you already have all the tools within you to create exactly what you want in life. This card often appears when there is about to be a big change in your life, which kind of ties in with the Disruption card. I'll pull some clarifiers for these cards.
Your person has Cup Central this month, although not quite as many as was in Cancer's reading yesterday. Your person may be a Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio, or have strong water somewhere in their birth chart. With the 8 of Cups they are walking away from something, likely an emotional connection, in order to find their 9 of Cups (wish fulfilment) and ultimately their 10 of Cups (peak emotional happiness). And, as it happens, the 9 of Cups is their next card out, so it's quite likely that they will find that a wish comes true for them this month. Because their next card is then the Ace of Cups, a brand new start which brings them emotional happiness in some way, this may be with the Queen of Cups, another Cancer, Pisces or Scorpio, someone who embodies those qualities, or this card could be them.
Your clarifying cards are Wisdom, Rejoice in Celebration, Suffering in Silence and Recognition and Reward.
Your person's clarifying cards are Knight of Wands, Queen of Pentacles, Strength and the Hierophant.
The Wisdom card, which is the card of the Hierophant, on the 2 of Cups followed by the Rejoice in Celebration card - the 3 of Cups - clarifying the Disruption card. The 3 of Cups, while this a positive card in some aspects, a card of reunion, celebration, a party, it can also signify a third party situation. I'm wondering, Sagittarius, if you wanted to marry your person? Maybe you thought that this relationship would end up in marriage, maybe you even had the ring, or had put the ring on your person's finger. And you've found out that someone else is in the mix here, causing the Disruption in your relationship. Because your next card, Suffering in Silence, this is the deck's version of the 9 of Swords. This card has been coming up so much, as has the 3 of cups. This card speaks of mental anguish, torment, sleepless nights, depression, anxiety, which is perfectly normal if a relationship has ended in any way, but especially if you've been betrayed. This card tells you to reach out to someone, to speak about how you feel, speak to a friend, family member or if you feel that things are so bad, your doctor. One of my favourite sayings is; the only way out is through. You have to work through your feelings and emotions, feel them, grieve them, before you can come through the other side. Your final card, Recognition and Reward tells of recognition of a job well done, it's this deck's version of the 3 of Pentacles. This comes on top of the Awareness card, so I think you may be throwing yourself into your work right now as a coping mechanism. But please remember to take care of yourself; mind, body and spirit.
Your person has the Knight of Wands clarifying the 8 of Cups. I feel that your person is not only leaving you, but moving away. And this has just thrown up another angle to the story. Maybe there has been no wrongdoing, no cheating. The thing with third party situations is that they're not always about another person, sometimes it can be a job, an interfering family member keeping you apart, literally anything that is a barrier to you and your person being together and happy. Because the Queen of Pentacles is clarifying the 9 of Cups. Maybe... your person is moving away to pursue their career, their wish fulfilment is not another relationship, but their own success. Your person may be a performer, television, theatre, a singer, an actress, a dancer. And they know that they can't progress in whatever they want to do, where they are right now. Maybe you live in a small town, and they need to be in a big city. The Ace of Cups is clarified by Strength, the Ace of Cups is a new beginning in something that brings emotional happiness. It's not only love that can bring someone emotional happiness. Some people are literally married to their job, once they've found their bliss, their calling in the world. I remember having a job once and I could have stayed there twenty four hours a day. I loved what I did, even though it was hot, sweaty, rush-rush and I looked like I had been dragged through a hedge by the end of my shift (I wasn't ever on show, so that's ok!). Finally, your person has the Hierophant clarifying the Queen of Cups. This is a happy relationship in the future. But is that with you or with someone else?
Bottom of the deck as underlying energy, you have The Waiting Game and your person has the Star. I feel that you've reached a stalemate with your person. They want to pursue their career or life path. Despite being in love with them, you don't want to sacrifice your own career to leave with them, and I think you're doing the right thing, because The Waiting Game tells me that you've worked hard in the past and you are just on the brink of seeing the results of your hard work come to fruition. Maybe you're about to be promoted. Maybe you have a business and it is finally booming. This was also confirmed in the Recognition and Reward card - something big is coming for you. With the Star, this is a card of wish fulfilment, so your person has had both wish cards show up for them. But the Star is also a card of healing. I think your person is hopeful that your connection can be healed. I'm inclined to say that they still want what you want, but just not now. Not right now.
Let's see if your oracle cards shed any light on your current situation. From Moonology your advice is Don't Let Pride Get in Your Way - Full Moon in Leo. The next Full Moon in Leo is on the 28th of January 2021, this might be a significant date for you, or this could be when something will happen to affect the course of your relationship with your person. This card tells of deadlock in a situation (what did I say above? Stalemate?). Are you approaching this with your ego, and not your heart? Feeling hurt and aggrieved at being rejected - which is totally an ego reaction, instead of reacting with your heart and maybe realising that just as your dreams are important to you, so are your person's to them? That choosing to pursue their dream career, even if at a distance to you, isn't an outright rejection of you, or your love. It just means that at this point in their life, they are choosing to prioritise this, over settling down.
A Change In The Wind is the card drawn from Wisdom of the Oracle. This card is very obviously about change, and we humans are such creatures of habit that we dislike the status quo being threatened. I'm a Taurus, I'm a fixed sign, I hate change. Sagittarius however is a mutable sign, you're one of the chameleons of the zodiac and even though you don't necessarily want to in this instance, you could go with the flow a little more. Be a little more flexible. I know that things are not going as you had planned them to, and it's only natural to be upset, but life rarely follows a blueprint. The relationship message here is that relationships go through periods where partners seem out of sync with each other. Maybe someone is leaving (your person?). Maybe someone is feeling very emotional and moody about this (you?). Your advice is that these are opportunities for mutual growth and reminds you that this too shall pass. I love how oracle cards hammer the point home. In some cases it's like using a sledgehammer on a walnut but still. Are you in danger of throwing the baby out with the bathwater here, because the finer details of your story are not happening in the order that you had planned?
The pendulum didn't want me to use any romance oracles or letters like my previous readings, so as an additional oracle I used my cute little zodiac dice (thanks to my cousin for her thoughtful gift!) to see if it came up with the sign of the person you may be dealing with. I threw it three times and got Cancer, Gemini and Libra.
I hope this reading resonated with you, although all these readings have all seemed so personal, they tell such vivid stories that they're anything but general. I'm a firm believer that if this message is meant for someone then it will reach them, some way, some how. Of course, if any part of this is your story, please leave a comment in the box below.
